Greek opinion poll shows pro-bailout party ahead May 26th 2012, 11:10 ATHENS | Sat May 26, 2012 6:48am EDT ATHENS (Reuters) - An opinion poll published on Saturday showed Greece's conservative New Democracy party, which backs the international bailout, having a slight lead over the leftist SYRIZA, which opposes it, ahead of the June 17 election. New Democracy was backed by 23.3 percent of respondents while SYRIZA scored 22 percent, according to the survey by pollster MRB for weekly newspaper Real News. The result was tweeted by the newspaper ahead of its publication. The Socialist PASOK party, which also backs the bailout, was third with 12.6 percent.
